Camp Pinnacle Wedding - Bailey and Braedon
Bailey and Braedon gathered their friends and family at Camp Pinnacle for one big party at the lake. I loved the intention that went into planning this weekend, from the personal touches on their invitations to a reception that was so perfectly them.
Bailey’s jumpsuit was handmade by her mom with beautiful details and shoes that matched. She got ready with her friends in the infirmary cabin while Braedon was just across the property. They had a first look on the dock before lining up for a ceremony, officiated by the bride’s brother, who told the story of how they met online. Braedon is passionate about native plants and his online dating profile said if he won the lottery he would donate the money to the American Chestnut Society :)
Together they have turned their urban yard into a pollinator paradise- native plants, a vegetable garden, and honeybees!
Instead of traditional vows they chose to read a list of gratitudes including joy and tomatoes. I was so touched by the ways they chose to make this day their own. They then exited with a high five recessional before hopping into a canoe for a quick ride around the lake.
At their reception Bailey surprised Braedon with a ukulele performance of “I want to Hold Your Hand” by the Beatles. Heartfelt toasts were given, everyone got on the dance floor, and ice cream sandwiches were brought out.
What an incredible day!
