Upstate NY

Driving up through Ohio and into Syracuse is mostly rolling green fields dotted with old farmhouses. You can tell which ones are Amish owned  by the lack of electrical wires and the horses and buggies clicking down the country roads.

I stayed the night in Rochester to catch up with my friend Jenna and eat some delicious food, then on to a little town called Carthage to visit my friend Emily and her family. The locals know all the best spots and they took me to the prettiest places :)

Although nothing seemed to compare to the landscapes of the west, there's a quiet-ness about New England that I loved.
