Cinque Terre is a gem of a place made up of five little towns connected by train and cliffside walking trails with gorgeous views. It's houses are tucked into the hillside in a way that looks as if they could topple into the ocean. The narrow streets and markets are crammed full of delicious restaurants, tchochkes, and gelato we enjoyed at least once every day. I think everyone should visit the land of one million steps at least once in their life.
I speak for all of us here, but I think it's safe to say our favorite day was hiking to the town of Corniglia from Vernazza and watching people cliff jump into the ocean. The trails aren't as crowded as the rest of the cities and have stunning views around every curve.
If you go, don't miss out on these spots :)
