Black Balsam Bridal Portraits | Carolyn

Photo of a bride on Black Balsam Mountain by Amelia Fletcher photography.

Carolyn and I hiked up the parkway for some photos of her in her dress before the big day. A “bridal session” often means different things depending on where you live. In the southeast U.S., it’s typically a photo session with the bride before she gets married. Many clients use this as a fun way to get some photos of themselves without the pressure of a hectic wedding day schedule, and/or use it as an opportunity for a trial run with whoever is doing their hair and makeup.

Big congratulations to Carolyn and Jake as they start this new chapter together! Keep an eye on Megan's page for images of their gorgeous day.

I was so excited when she asked me to do her bridal photos at one of my favorite spots along the parkway. Hiking up a mountain, barefoot, in early April, is no joke y'all. But I think this place was worth it. Here's to a life full of adventure.
